A Manifesto was published in 1996 by The World Constitution and Parliament Association based in Colorado. They have been working on a Constitution for the Federation of Earth since 1968. Delegates from “non-government organizations” propose to take over the ocean and seabeds of the world which make up 70 percent of the earth, outlaw transportation of nuclear weapons by sea or air through the World Disarmament Agency, control the total money of earth with a Financial Credit Corporation, and spend a trillion dollars each year combating global warming (even though scientists are now predicting a new “ice age.”17
The Council on Foreign Relations advises the president of the USA on foreign policy.18
The Earth Charter Commission was launched at Burlington, Vermont. A keynote speaker was Steven Rockefeller. The “Earth Charter” plans to replace politics, armies, and religion. It is contained in something called an “ark” designed to replace the Ten Commandments.19 Article 51 of the charter says, “Fundamental rights can be suppressed if it is necessary and genuinely meets objectives of general interest being pursued by the Union.”20
In June, 2000, ex-President Clinton won the Charlemagne prize for promoting European unity. (Charlemagne was the first king who attempted to revive the Roman Empire in 800 A.D.)21 Tony Blair of England also won the Charlemagne prize. A global conference to examine the future of the world was held at the United Nations in New York in September, 2000. Charter 99, A Charter for Global Democracy, was presented calling for all nations to adopt principles for “international accountability, just, and sustainable development.”22 A document titled How World Government Will Work said that Earth should be divided into 1,000 districts, 20 regions, ten magna regions, and five continental regions.23
In December, 2000, the Parliament Association met again with leaders of the European Union at Nice, France.24 Britain gave up 39 veto options at this conference.25
You may have noticed on the news that there is a big push for establishing common currencies and Free Trade Agreements between countries. Mexican president, Vicente Fox, has urged the United States and Canada to help Mexico’s development based on the European model.
In April, 2001, leaders from 34 nations signed an accord to create free trade throughout North and South America. Opening trading borders means millions of people will also be free to live and move between these borders. This is sometimes called the “Fifth Column,” or the enemy within. They will not have the same religion or allegiance to the new country. For instance, tens of thousands of Muslims in central London shouted slogans against Britain and America when the twin towers of New York City fell on September, 11, 2001.26
