What happened to the dinosaurs? When did they become extinct in a flood? Was the flood worldwide?
A Physicist have described as follows. When the flood started, the basalt 6 to 12 miles down became hot. Half of the water in our oceans was in a layer just above the basalt. The salty water, containing compressed carbon dioxide, heated up to 250o (40 degrees
above boiling). Like an exploding soda pop can, a microscopic crack raced ahead of the water in both directions, roaring at 3 miles per second around the smooth surface of the earth.
The steam burst violently through the crack spraying 70 miles high into the air. Like seams ripping on a baseball, the crack raced around the earth for about two hours. You can see this crack on maps of the ocean floor. It runs through the Atlantic Ocean, the Pacific Ocean, and intersects in the Indian Ocean. The crack formed great trenches, some deeper than three Grand Canyons.
